I retired over six years ago and moved to Nebraska. I had a Real Estate agent list my home in Englewood and after 6 months, I rented it out. That worked for about 2 years and the tenant moved out. I again tried to sell my home through another Real Estate Agent and six months later rented it out again. The next tenants seemed to be working out for about 3 1/2 years and at one point discussed buying it on contract. A piece of advice, never rent your house to a family with 3 kids and 2 Saint Bernard's. In the end they moved out owing rent and doing about $8,000 worth of damage.

Dear Jon,
We can't thank you enough for all your patience, help, and professional skill in handling the sale of our townhouse in southeast Denver this October.
In the middle of the worst economic and real estate collapse in decades, and dealing with some very difficult personalities, again and again you went beyond the call of duty in keeping us focused and moving forward toward a sale.
Whether it was working with us to prepare and price our property to be competitive in a struggling real estate market, advising us on whether and how to stage our property, finding competent repair and cleaning people on short notice, coordinating with outside repair and carpeting companies, or simply following up multiple times with every realtor who took clients to visit the property, your efforts were extraordinary and your advise was spot-on.

To Anyone Considering a Realtor:
Jon Sommer provided us the finest realty services I have ever received in my life. Period!
In a horrible market he arranged a multitude of low-cost contractors to perform pre-listing work to include a complete re-roof and hardwood floor finishing. He arranged a complete landscaping make-over; an extensive fence to be built; a new irrigation system installed and he personally spent hours installing hard-to-find light bulbs and fixtures.
Jon communicated with us constantly. He advised us that based upon his knowledge, our target price was $5000 too low and so we followed that advice. He sent us photographs of everything and his electronic process allowed us to attend to the contracts on our schedule.
In June 2009, at the time of record foreclosures and a terrible realty market, we had three full-price offers on our home within 48 hours. The buyer we accepted flipped due to a desire to re-roof the house. Within one day of that we had two additional full price offers and Jon had delivered to the buyer samples of the roofing material that we agreed to apply. Jon's advice to increase our listing price basically covered that contingency.
We have bought and sold nearly two dozen properties in our lifetimes and without any hesitation I can say that the experience we had with Jon Sommer was the best we have ever had.
